 Milton ducted cable chambers are Highway Agency Type A to Drawing MCX 0815. Sht.I.
The units are reinforced and do not require a concrete surround in normal use.
Cover slabs are designed tohighway loading.
Internal dimensions 1300 x 850mm.
Cover slab - 150mm effective thickness
Raising piece - 0.25m high
Main unit - 1.0m high
Cover slab wt - 0.32t
Raising piece wt - 0.20t
Main unit wt - 0.78t
External surface coated with 2 coats of cut back bitumen.
